Lesson 62 - Enterprise Architecture Strategies
(June 17, 2019)

Enterprise Architecture strategies define the overall structure of the enterprise architecture teams (centralized or distributed across each business unit or department within the company) and how enterprise standards are created, applied, and governed across the organization. In this lesson Mark Richards defines what an enterprise architecture strategy is, shows the kinds of standards defined and governed by enterprise architecture teams, and finally introduces the 4 types of enterprise architecture strategies. Choosing the right strategy is essential to the success of a business, big or small. Mark will talk about each of the enterprise architecture strategies in the next four lessons in Software Architecture Monday.
