Lesson 216 - Creating Scalable Systems
(February 2, 2026)

It seems more and more companies are concerned about scalability these days—and for a good reason. Scalability—the ability to maintain a consistent response time as user load increases—is increasingly becoming a concern as more consumers shop online and resort to the internet for almost everything. In this lesson I expand on Lesson 135 to show the relationship between scalability and responsiveness, and also show techniques and patterns for creating scalable systems.
